Hands on the instruments, one day a week.
Students train on the CEREC scanner — the same digital scanning and design technology used in modern dental offices. It's experience most assistants don't get until years into the job.
Mandatory in-person clinicals run on campus one day a week for 12 weeks. You'll practice dental instruments, dental materials, X-rays, chairside assisting, sterilization, and running the dental back office.
The core 12-week program — online modules plus one hands-on clinical day a week on campus.
Complete your coursework fully online and come to campus only for the weekly clinicals.
Extend your training into orthodontic assisting — brackets, wires, and ortho chairside skills.
